I came back carrying smoke inside my bloodstream
Another black confession hidden in the drumbeat
The city's full of martyrs nobody remembers
Just candle wax and chalk outlines in December
The television feeds delusion to the masses
While pastors trade salvation for designer fabrics
And every child raised online learns fear before compassion
A generation medicated into passive habits
I seen addicts kneel beside the liquor store at sunrise
Begging Heaven for a reason not to end life
While billionaires discuss morality at banquets
With blood soaked hands hidden beneath white napkins
My life became a corridor of empty faces
Everybody searching for God in temporary places
Through lust through violence through narcotics and applause
But every false idol still collapses in the dark
The doctrine of greed got engraved into the culture
Now every friendship got conditions and ulterior motives
Nobody loves until the cameras start recording
Nobody helps unless attention comes awarded
I still remember classmates talking about revolvers
Like death was just another trend to post about tomorrow
The schools taught obedience but never taught emotion
So broken minds kept drowning silently in oceans
I watched good women lose faith inside abusive homes
Watched young men become monsters cause they felt alone
And every politician spoke with silver tongues
While burying the poor beneath inflation and corruption
The air smells like burnt hope and cheap cologne
Like broken promises stitched into concrete roads
Every apartment got depression in the wallpaper
Every mirror reflects exhaustion and anger
Sometimes I think the end already happened quietly
And we're just ghosts pretending everything is fine to see
Cause nobody blinks when another mother cries
Another overdose another televised lie
My life turned into scripture for the hopeless youth
A blackened gospel written from unbearable truths
I speak for every soul society discarded
Every shattered heart still beating through the darkness
I don't chase fame no more I seen what it creates
Empty eyes hidden behind platinum and praise
Famous people dying slowly inside penthouses
While fans romanticize collapse like entertainment
The priests told me temptation comes from Lucifer
But power made more demons than the Devil ever did
Cause evil don't arrive with horns and burning skin
Sometimes it wears a suit and calls itself a president
Still I walk through ruins with a fragile faith
Still searching for a pulse beneath the human race
And if redemption's real beyond this cursed existence
I pray the lost find peace before the world goes missing
