lost?

I walk but i don’t know where

The streets all blur like i’m not there

Names on signs, they don’t mean much

Just noise i pass, too faint to touch

They said “you’ll find your way, just wait.”

But the sky turned grey and the clocks lost shape

Thought i had a dream, but it slipped my grip

Like smoke in hands or a sinking ship

No north, no flame, no voice to call

No echo when i hit the wall

I talk to god in lowercase

But even he don’t show his face

Feet keep moving, heart just stalls

Shadows stretch but never fall

I keep askin’ what this cost

But i don’t even know what i lost
